Crispy Chick Coming to Parma Heights With Pearl Road Drive-Thru

A fan favorite from Cleveland’s east side is heading to the southwest suburbs. The Crispy Chick, a Black-owned and woman-owned restaurant known for its fresh, made-from-scratch chicken dishes, is opening a new location at 6671 Pearl Road in Parma Heights, inside the former Burger King building.

A building permit posted at the site, dated March 23, 2026, lists the project as “Crispy Chick Building Alterations,” with All Weather Builders named as the contractor. Construction is actively underway, with scaffolding up and the exterior being resurfaced.

Drive-Thru Approved by City

The new location will include a drive-thru, which required city approval before construction could begin. The entity 6671 Pearl Road LLC applied for a conditional use permit in October 2025. Parma Heights Planning Commission held a public hearing in December 2025 and recommended approval. City Council passed a resolution granting the permit at its January 2026 meeting.

The property sits in the West 130th Mixed Use District along one of Parma Heights’ main commercial corridors.
