HUDSON, Ohio — The Hudson Police Department processed multiple property crimes, community disturbances, and safety concerns across the city between May 14 and May 20, 2026. Local authorities handled multiple theft reports, residential domestic disputes, and scattered acts of neighborhood vandalism throughout the week. Officers maintained public order by resolving neighborhood parking issues, handling mental health crises, and conducting routine welfare checks.

Hudson Police Log Key Theft Reports and Vandalism Incidents

Property crimes kept local authorities busy as residents sought assistance for stolen belongings and damaged infrastructure. On May 18 at 9:46 pm, officers met with a victim in the lobby of the Hudson Police Department to document a theft report originating from Foxdale Circle. Property concerns also emerged earlier in the weekend when an officer was dispatched to Glen Echo Drive on May 15 at 7:48 pm to document a lost item report.

Additionally, physical damage to community property was reported in local neighborhoods. Officers responded to Cheshire Road on May 18 at 2:30 pm after receiving reports of spray paint vandalism on a “little library” structure owned by a local Homeowners Association (H.O.A.).

Authorities Intervene in Domestic Situations and Disorderly Conduct

Officers were called to settle escalating household and public disputes during this reporting period. On the evening of May 15 at 7:41 pm, units responded to East Streetsboro Street following a domestic situation dispatch. A separate family conflict required intervention on May 18 at 4:25 pm, when officers arrived at a Walters Road residence to mediate a domestic dispute between a mother and her adult son.

Public disturbances also required a law enforcement presence. Police resolved a non-criminal confrontation involving two separate groups of juveniles in the downtown area near West Streetsboro Street on May 15 at approximately 5:10 pm. Later in the weekend, on May 17 at 10:53 am, Hudson Police responded to an Ashley Drive home regarding a disorderly conduct complaint. Later in the week, on May 20 at 9:17 pm, officers were dispatched to Pioneer Trail to investigate a report of domestic violence.

Welfare Checks and Public Safety Services Rendered

Department personnel conducted multiple safety checks and assisted residents facing personal crises. On May 16 at approximately 4:00 pm, emergency personnel performed a welfare check on a 16-year-old female at a Hunting Hollow Drive residence. The following morning, May 17 at 11:30 am, officers engaged with a mentally ill 43-year-old male on West Streetsboro Street who reported that he had misplaced his phone and vape pen.
