Munroe Falls 2026 Road Paving Project: Street List, Route 91 Bridge Closure & Driver Guide

MUNROE FALLS, Ohio — Munroe Falls has launched its 2026 Road Paving Project, with crews performing full depth pavement repairs and curb work as needed across the city. Residents and commuters are asked to use caution, obey all construction signs, and follow directions from flaggers when traveling through work zones.

Crack Sealing Underway on Dozens of Streets

In addition to full depth paving, the city is conducting crack sealing on a number of residential streets. Crack sealing involves placing an adhesive sealant into pavement cracks to prevent moisture from penetrating the surface. The process extends the life of existing pavement without requiring full replacement.

Route 91 Bridge Closure Also Coming

Residents should also be aware of a separate project on State Route 91. The Ohio Department of Transportation has scheduled a bridge repair project with a planned start date of June 17, 2026. The bridge is expected to be closed to all traffic for approximately 120 days, with a projected closure through Oct. 15, 2026. Updates may be found on the ODOT project page.

The city contracted with Pavement Management Group to assess its 24 centerline mile road network.
