Three Juveniles Charged in Barberton Murder Investigation

The Barberton Police Department has made three arrests in connection with a murder that occurred on June 18. All three suspects are juveniles and have been booked into the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.

On June 20, the Barberton Detective Bureau and the Barberton SWAT Team executed simultaneous arrest and search warrants at two locations within the city. Two 15-year-old males from Barberton were taken into custody. Both were charged with murder.

Third Suspect Arrested Monday

A third arrest followed Monday morning. The Barberton Detective Bureau, working alongside the United States Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested a 16-year-old male from Akron. He was also charged with murder and booked into the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.
